Kellee is a unique musical group dedicated to having fun. As Kellee, Bill and Liz Lowery blend Old Tyme with Celtic Folk Music for an evening of Irish pub tunes that really fun and enjoyable. We have been sharing our music since 2002, begining south of Houston, we are now joined by Kimball Trotter on bass and special appearanced by Richard Aiken on tenor banjo and mandolin. We have been described as "a lot of fun, and easy to listen to".
Bill was inspired by great folk musicians such as Mike Cross, Gene Richy, Aubrey Atwater and Nanci Griffith. In addition they were influenced by such Irish favorites as Gaelic Storm, Clancy Brothers and The Dubliners. Kellee is a wonderful blend of both sides of the "great pond"; they are just as comfortable on a front porch, a festival or thowing down pints with guests in and Irish Pub

Inspired by a trip to Ireland in 2008; diving through the countryside we began to understand what our forefathers went through. The songs on the CD are a mixture of Pub drinking songs and Rebel Ballads, many were recommended by our friends with the AOH. The CD is available at our performances
Recorded live at various locations including, the members of the band weren't aware therefore the name. The CD was created to distribute to our friends.
